Club Member Kaki Ley introduced Mytzy Rodriguez-Kufner at our August 22 meeting, who told our club about her exciting new business.

Mytzy immigrated to the U.S. with her parents from Peru. Through her family she has learned about a healthy lifestyle, including using fruits, vegetables, and other organic foods and herbs. Mytzy and her family have lived in Wayne since 2013. They are all active in the community.

The Ekeko is a pre-Incan deity that encompasses health, wealth, and good fortune. Mytzy told us various countries in South America use this little doll as a good luck charm to bring fortune and good health. She continued to tell us about cold press juice bars. She noted "This is a place to learn about Peruvian culture as well, so there are books, and other Peruvian items that will be sold."
