At our club meeting on November 1st, Sara Westerhold told our club about the teaching of Martial Arts. The classes meet in the building by O’Reilly Auto Parts. They share the space with the Wayne State College Wrestling Team and with Gymnastics classes. Sara noted they offer 4 classes: Little Dragons, Taekwondo, Gumdo (which involves knives), and Hapkido (which utilizes pressure points). She said the classes help build self-confidence in her students.
