CITY OF WAYNE ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT

Gene Hansen, City of Wayne's Electrical Superintendent, spoke o the club on May 25. He told us about the complicated process of the city getting our electricity from Kentucky, who they have a 10 year contract with. Gene also mentioned the many ways the city and others are encouraging the reduced use of electricity via rebates to check our air conditioners, switching to LED lighting, heat pumps, and changing to more energy efficient doors and windows.

Gene Hansen was introduced by club member Fauneil Bennett.
