Thanks to Marion and Pat Arneson for a very interesting presentation on July 19 showing all the historical preservations they have been assisting with in Red Cloud. Their dedication to Marion’s hometown is commendable!
They had a very impressive powerpoint which told us a lot of information about the community of Red Cloud as well as about its famous author.
Marion and Pat brushed us up on the history of Willa Cather. She wrote 23 books, some set in Red Cloud.
The Opera House is just one of the many projects the Foundation has taken on. There is also a native prairie grass farm.
