Vitor Pereira is Rotary Exchange Student

Norfolk Rotary Club is proud to sponsor Vitor Pereira as a foreign exchange student from São José do Rio Preto, Brazil. Vitor is 17 years old and is currently enrolled at Norfolk Senior High as a junior. His parents are Ataide and Celene Pereira, who own and operate a hair styling salon. He has one brother, Flavio, who is studying to be a production engineer, a career that also interests Vitor. Vitor tells us that Flavio is also ranks fourth nationally in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Vitor is a swimmer and also competes on the Norfolk Senior High cross country team. Vitor learned of the student exchange program after becoming a member of the Rotary Interact Club for youth ages 12-18, sponsored by his local Rotary club. He is currently staying with hosts Dave and Cindy Busskohl. Vitor's hosts next semester will be Bob and Michelle Dudley. As parents of an exchange student, Vitor's parents agreed to host exchange students in their home. They have already hosted a young man from Mexico and plan to host a Canadian girl and an Australian boy.
