Tree Planting

The Norfolk Rotary Club planted 137 trees in a little over an hour on May 24, 2018. The trees were planted in the Norfolk City Nursery and will grow there until they are mature enough to be transplanted throughout the City as needed. The varieties include Northern Catalpa, Burr Oak, Hackberry, American Linden, Swamp Oak, American Sycamore, Hazelnut, Nannyberry, Jack Pine, White Fir and White Pine. Participating Rotarians included Randy Dee, Ron McKeever, John Schmitt, Sherri Prim, Sam Drevo, Jim Merritt, Mary Hammond, Rod Johnson, Troy Weyhrich, and Patty Skokan. Others helpers were Hayden Dee, Hunter Dee and Ryan Prim. We are thankful to the NRD for donating the trees.
