At this weeks meeting we had Doug Dekker with Simulation In Motion-Nebraska give us a tour and information on the new mobile training simulator for pre-hospital and hospital professionals.  This is a state-of-the-art 44 foot truck that can provide realistic training in an emergency room or ambulance setting.  It has patient simulators that include adults, children, infants, and pregnant mothers that can talk, breathe, bleed, and pulse.  The truck is equipped with audio and video to record each simulation and review later on.  There mobile simulation units will be based in Norfolk, Lincoln, Kearney, and Scottsbluff and will travel to local communities for training.  A big thank you to Rotarian Dan Nelson for setting this program up.
Next week we will have Susie Buss and Teammates join us for Rotary.  Joe Mtika with the Norfolk school in Malawi will also join us and give an update on the school there.
