The monthly club assembly was held today in which we focused on new member contacts. A partial list of the Chamber of Commerce membership was passed out and members present committed to contacting people at various businesses this month to recruit new Rotary members. A different list of businesses will be sent out each month for our members to contact. Any new members at this time will have their 1^st quarter meals and dues paid up until April 1, 2014.

At our Fat Tuesday party on March 4^th, sponsors of Music in the Park will be admitted free and will be acknowledged at the event. This will be a fundraiser for the cause to be decided. Anyone interested in being involved with the planning of this event is asked to contact Sherri Prim.

At our evening meeting next week, January 7, representatives from the City will be present to discuss progress on the Skyview Lake stage which is being built in partnership with the City of Norfolk, Vulcraft Corp., and Norfolk Rotary Club. The meeting will be held at 5:30pm with appetizers and a cash bar available.
