Since Rotary's founding in 1905, Rotarians have worked tirelessly to help improve their communities and the world. Today, more than 1.2 million Rotarians live and work in over 200 countries and geographic regions around the world. This diverse community is united through a common commitment to the advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through

service.

As active members of their communities, Rotarians are often aware of local needs, priorities, culture, and resources that contribute to effective service projects. Effective service projects, however, require more than just an understanding of the community. They also depend on the club's ability to effectively evaluate the community's needs, plan relevant projects, and manage a project's resources.

Parker Task Force  
The Parker Task Force is dedicated to providing individuals and families in our community with food, limited financial assistance and other support services to help them become self-sufficient.  Our club is a proud sponsor of this valuable community resource!  

Women of Achievement Luncheon

Join us for this year's luncheon that will recognize outstanding women who have put service above self.  To celebrate 30 years of women in Rotary this year's them will recognize Rotarian women in the Douglas County area.  Click on this web link for details and tickets to our May 3 event!

Our Rotary club is happy to sponsor this organization's mission to raise awareness about the at-risk students in the Greater Denver Metro, and to raise money to help support them in their time of need to improve their chances for success.

Project Sanctuary
Our Rotary club proudly funds Project Sanctuary to provide soldiers and their families help reintegrating back into a traditional family life.  Project Sanctuary's vision statement is "to assist military service members returning from our nation’s wars and conflicts by reconnecting the family unit through a holistic approach, healing the effects of war, treating all members of the family at their level of need, and enabling the service members to reintegrate into their families and communities in a healthy and sustainable manner, resulting in preservation of the family unit and strengthening of the community, the military and the country."

Trick or Treat on Mainstreet   

Bring all your little ghouls, ghosts, goblins, princesses, super heroes and anyone else celebrating Halloween to Downtown Parker.  Many local businesses will line the street providing a fun and safe place for kids of all ages to trick-or-treat.  Held each year on Mainstreet, just east of Parker Road.  This is a FREE event sponsored by Parker Rotary Cherry Creek Valley.

Firefighters Breakfast 
Our local club travels to the various fire stations in Douglas county to provide breakfast and thank these heroes for their daily service.  

Women's Crisis Center

Our club sponsors this organization that offers life-changing services to the families of Douglas county and surrounding areas.  The Crisis Center exists to end domestic violence through advocacy, education, and prevention; while helping communities live free of violence.   

Best Buddies 

Best Buddies International is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).  

Law Enforcement Annual Event

Each year, our club recognizes an outstanding law officer for duties that demonstrate service above self.
