The Terra Linda Rotary Club, founded in 1964, meets at noon every first, third and fifth Tuesday (except Holidays). Visiting Rotarians and guests are introduced, then we discuss Club and Rotary business. A guest speaker takes the podium at about 1:00, and we adjourn at 1:30. Speakers, who are from a variety of areas and interests, are always insightful and interesting.

In addition to our Tuesday meetings, we hold social activities throughout the year. Several times a year we forego our regular Tuesday luncheon meeting for other activities including our annual installation dinner and holiday party. Our membership roster includes community, government, professional and business leaders and managers. The men and women compromising our membership are people who have strong links to our community and are dedicated to improving it and the lives of its residents.

Terra Linda Rotary is part of Rotary International, which encompasses more than 1.2 million members in over 33,000 clubs worldwide. That means that you can have lunch with fellow Rotarians and enjoy their hospitality almost everywhere in the world. The Rotary International organization raised more than US$580 million to eradicate polio and four other children's diseases from the world. This massive project is well on its way to completion. Rotary International also funds international scholarships on a scale greater than the Fulbright and Rhodes scholarships put together. Worldwide grants for Health, Hunger and Humanitarian projects are also made jointly with the individual Rotary Clubs.
