Pinelands Rotary: Potjiekos Competition

By the time we have this funfilled event all formalities of the year will just about be over and we will be able to enjoy good fellowship at a wonderful venue and food of an excellent quality prepared by our talented Rotary chefs!!!

We hope to break all previous records with attendance and wish to appeal to all to join us when we will compete to see which club is the champion of our District.

SHOULD YOU WISH TO COME BUT YOU ARE NOT A POTJIE EXPERT PLEASE CONTACT MIKE BELOW WHO WILL ARRANGE FOR YOU TO COME AS A GUEST.

Since we would like to attract new members for our District, we wish to appeal to you to invite non-Rotarians to compete or join in the fellowship and you are requested to help us in this regard.

COST: R200.00 PER POT and R15.00 per person scholars excluded.

We wish to open all food to guests in order to achieve better fellowship, and Rotarians present will also be able to share the contents of their pots with other clubs.

Chefs will report at the venue by no later than 08:00 when a check will be done of their raw content for their pots. No pre-preparation will be permitted. Guests can join us at any time but should not arrive later than 12:00 in order to support chefs when judging commences at 13:00.
