This enormously popular event is, for more than 20 years being; the flagship project of The Rotary Club of Kirstenbosch, featuring the Cape Town Concert Brass and the Cape Town Male Voice Choir, and it is sponsored by Pick n Pay. It is a fun way to get in the mood for Christmas and it also raises funds for charities in and around Cape Town.
The concert starts at 19h45, while gates to the concert area will only open at 18h00. Concert goers will however be allowed to enter the gardens on presentation of a concert ticket and enjoy the sites in the gardens.
There is also pre-carols entertainment from around 18h30 to 19h45. The event ends approximately 21:30.
Below is the ONLY pricing structure:
Thursday, 15 December 2016. (The pricing structure is discounted) – R100 - Adults, R75 - Scholars, R25 - children 2-6 years, toddlers under 2 years enter free.
Fri-Sun, 16-18 December 2016. (Pricing is higher for these 3 days) – R110 - Adults, R85 - Scholars, R30 - children 2-6 years, toddlers under 2 years enter free.

PLEASE NOTE:
Tickets will only be available via online sales at Webtickets ( www.webtickets.co.za ), or at the ticket offices at the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens as from the week of the 19th September 2016.
Pre-Carols entertainment starts around 18:30 daily depending on the acts.
Cape Town Concert Brass and the Cape Town Male Voice Choir are on stage each night to lead carol singing.
There are pre-carols acts who have made themselves available to perform across the 4 nights, however, the programme will only be finalised closer to the event days.
Please note: the pre-carols acts give of their time to support The Rotary Club of Kirstenbosch at the Carols at Kirstenbosch event and are NOT the main acts, therefore these acts may be changed without notice.
The Carols singing starts at 19:45pm and the programme ends around 21:30pm each night.
People start arriving / queuing at the gardens gates from about 16:00pm as space on the lawn is unreserved.
You will receive a song-sheet and glow-stick on entry to the event.
There is no preferred evening for children as all 4 evenings follow the same format.
Parking is available in the normal Gardens parking areas and overflows onto Rhodes Drive when full. Please come early to avoid parking a distance from the entrance.
Pack your own picnic basket and come enjoy a picnic on the garden lawns and surrounds with family and friends.
PnP has a hospitality / refreshment outlet where light snacks / soft drinks / coffee / tea / etc. are on sale.
