YE Tri-Annual Meeting

TRI-ANNUAL DISTRICT YOUTH EXCHANGE PROGRAM MEETING

To:       Club Presidents, Club YE Chairs, Inbound/Outbound Counselors, DYE Committee, STEP, DG, DGE & DGN **Club Presidents – If you do not have a YE program, please designate someone (either a Club member who works with a local high school or perhaps a teacher or superintendent in your Club) to attend the meeting to keep up with current District Youth Exchange programs/activities/events.**

8:30-8:55a.m. – Welcome & Updates & Orient YEOs/Counselors on Using Manuals to Train Host Family (HF) and Volunteers – Linda Spotts DYE Chair and Amber Seidel DYE Outbound Chair

8:55am – Break up into 2 groups A and B and Rotate thru 2 topics for etworking/clubs sharing best practices/brainstorming.

9:00-9:30am –  Group A – Board Room – HF Best Practices/Issues and Group B – Dining Room – Academics Best Practices/Issues

9:35-10:05am – Group B – Board Room – Host Family Best Practices/Issues and Group A – Dining Room – Academic Best Practices/Issues

10:10-10:30am - Wrap Up Group A & B – Dining Room

10:30am – District/Club Tri-Annual Meeting Adjourn

10:45-Noon – Dining Room - DYE Committee Meeting – all welcome to stay                

Building Code:  Will be emailed to attendees prior to meeting.  (Code can be used for any of the doors to enter the building – the Dining Room is on the lower level - south-west wing of the building).
