YE Spring Orientation

Outbound Candidates, Parents, and Outbound Counselors: The District 7390 & 7620 Spring Orientation is scheduled for Saturday, April 8 at the Byrnes Health Education Center (515 South George Street, York, PA 17401). All candidates and at least one of their parents (both are invited) and their Rotary Counselor are REQUIRED to attend this day long orientation. A continental breakfast will be provided at 8:15 a.m. during registration. The day will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. Lunch will be provided and we will conclude by 2:30 p.m. (Note: We will be joined at lunch by parents of our students who are presently abroad.)

Please note that information about travel plans, luggage, passport and visa, will be provided. Counselors of Outbound Candidates will spend the day with their student and parents. Counselors are encouraged to arrange transportation with your student and parents if suitable for both parties. If the counselor cannot attend, we ask that another member of your Youth Exchange Committee attend in your place. We expect that ALL Outbound Candidates will have a Rotary representative with them for the day.

Parents of Current Outbound Students have been invited to attend the afternoon session with parents of Rotex to receive information about re-adjustment of their students upon return home this summer. Club Chairs are asked to contact the parents and strongly encourage them to attend this very beneficial session.
