YE Annapolis/Baltimore Trip

One thing - All students MUST bring an official ID.

• INBOUND Students MUST Bring their PASSPORT!
• OUTBOUND Students MUST Bring one of the following:
  • Passport
  • Drivers License
  • School ID

It will be the only way to get in to the State House and the Naval academy.

Below is information regarding the next Youth Exchange event! Please reply to this email with your attendance!

Date:  April 24, 2016

Departure on a charter bus:   Please arrive at 6:45 a.m. as the bus will leave at 7:00 a.m. SHARP from Queensgate Shopping Center (2081 Springwood Road, York, PA (**PARK BEHIND FRANK THEATERS** - If you use 1920 Queenswood Drive in your GPS that will take you to the parking lot – the parking lot sits on top of the hill behind Frank Theaters.) – We will be making a fast-food breakfast stop on the way to Annapolis.

The Day will Include:

·       Arrival in Annapolis at 9:30 a.m. Start to tour/participate in Annapolis events at 10:00 a.m. at Port area, shopping in historic Annapolis, US Naval Academy, State House/Legislature tour

·       Depart for Baltimore between 3:00 and 4:00 p.m. You will have free time at Inner Harbor and Dinner at either Hard Rock Cafe, Planet Hollywood, or another restaurant of your choice.

·       The bus will Depart for York at 7:00 p.m.

Arrival Back to York: Between 8:15 and 8:30 p.m.

Student considerations:

·       Watch the weather: consider a cover up umbrella for rain, sun screen if sunny

·       Comfortable walking shoes - you will do allot

·       Decent clothes - (comfortable but conservative - jeans OK (not torn- even if so fashionable) We will be the State House!

·       Plan to buy lunch and dinner - so bring money. No central eating arrangements are made - everyone will be able to go where they want (for the most part)
