YE - Inbound Orientation

Where:  St. Rose of Lima Church Parish Center (950 West Market Street, York, PA). - To access the Parish Center and the parking lot, use the alley behind the church.

When: Saturday, August 26, 2023 - 8:00 am - 12:00 noon: Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. with a continental breakfast. The orientation will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. and conclude by 12:00 noon. 

Who:  2023-2024 Inbound Students, Club Chairs and Inbound Counselors and all Host Families.  This is a MANDATORY event for all 2022-23 Inbound Youth Exchange Students.

Dress:  Dress is Rotary casual.  Wear a Rotary shirt or t-shirt.  Students bring your Rotary blazer and your country flag.  Jeans, shorts and sneakers are welcome.

Overnight social event: After the orientation, students will remain in York as guests of the Rotary Club of York for an overnight social event.  Students will need to bring an overnight bag of toiletries and a change of clothing with them. The families who are hosting the students overnight DO NOT need to attend the morning meeting (unless they are official host families) and should pick up the students at the church at 3:30 p.m.

Pick up: Sunday August 27, 2023: 12:00 noon - McDonald’s, 60 Arsenal Road, York. Students will need to be picked up by host families or by an adult (Rotarian) with DYE clearances and taken home.

Please register using the link to the left. If you are NOT a Rotarian, you will need to follow the steps below. Rotarians, please click on the "Members" box to register. 

1. Click on "Guests" blue box.
2. Enter your information (first name, last name, email, click the consent box and then click on save) 
3. On the next screen, you can enter additional guests (click on "add another guest")
4. Once all guests are entered you can click "register all guests".
