Public Relations Committee develops and executes a plan to provide the public with information about Rotary and promote the club's service projects and activities.
The duties of the Public Relations Committee are to assist president in developing a public relations plan, create list of media contacts and keep updated, respond quickly and accurately to media inquiries about club activities, present information to the public about Rotary club history, goals and accomplishments, work with media to secure proper publicity for club's activities, communicate with key leaders and organizations in the community, work with district public relations chair to keep club informed of larger stories that may generate interest beyond the local community.
