Habitat for Humanity Workday

Holmen Area Rotary Club has an opportunity to work the new Habitat housing project being built in La Crosse. The project is a group of 8 townhouse owner occupied units being built on property that once contained 3 blighted single family homes. This project makes home ownership a reality for families in need while improving the neighborhood in the heart of La Crosse.  The Rotary Works Foundation and Rotary District 6250 are included as major sponsors for this Habitat project. Space is limited to 10 people and will require registration. Registration is open to members of HARC but also to those invited by and registered by a member of HARC. Workers will also be required to sign a liability waiver before they can enter the jobsite. 

In addition to providing the volunteer group, Holmen Area Rotary Club is committed to donate $1000 to the project. Any donations toward the Habitat work day would be greatly appreciated.
