Bruce is a well-known Beatles author/historian and is considered one of the world’s leading experts on the Beatles. A “taxman” by day, Bruce is a Board Certified Tax Attorney. A “paperback writer” by night, Bruce is the author of 13 critically acclaimed books on the Beatles, including “The Beatles Are Coming! The Birth of Beatlemania in America,” and his latest Beatles Album Series, which includes books on: Sgt. Pepper; The White Album; Abbey Road; Let It Be; and Magical Mystery Tour & Yellow Submarine. Bruce has been a guest speaker at numerous Beatles conventions in the U.S. and U.K. and at the Grammy Museum, the Paley Center for Media, the Newseum, the American Film Institute, New York’s Lincoln Center and the Rock ’N’ Roll Hall of Fame & Museum in Cleveland. He wrote the questions and answers for the Beatles edition of Trivial Pursuit. Bruce serves as a consultant for Universal Music Group, Capitol Records and Apple Corps, Ltd. on Beatles projects.

 

Members from the Rotary Club of New Orleans had a wonderful time volunteering for this years’ 25^th French Film Festival held March 10- 17^th.  The 25th New Orleans French Film Festival, is one of the longest-running foreign language festivals in the country, and showcased excellence in contemporary and classic francophone Cinema at the historic Prytania Theatre. All films were screened with English subtitles.  The Festival is an annual film festival organized by the nonprofit organization New Orleans Film Society; a film society founded in 1989. The festival has been held since the society's inception. The New Orleans Film Society is a 501(c)3 whose mission is to discover, cultivate, and amplify diverse voices of filmmakers who tell the stories of our time.
