Thanksgiving Project 2025

On Thursday, November 20, 2025, members and volunteers of the Rotary Club of New Orleans, along with volunteers from the New Orleans East Rotary, and the Warren Easton Interact Club, came together at First Grace United Methodist Church to carry out the club’s annual Thanksgiving Project.

From early afternoon to early evening, volunteers worked across various shifts, each contributing to the greater goal of food security for the community.

This initiative not only provided a Thanksgiving meal, but also ensured that families had enough food to sustain them through the holiday week—making a real difference during a time when food insecurity is often at its peak.

We extend heartfelt thanks to every volunteer who gave their time and energy to this cause. Your service truly exemplifies the Rotary motto of "Service Above Self." Together, we continue to uplift our community with compassion and care.

Interact Update
We are proud to share photos from the sign-up booth for our newest Interact Club, launched at Eleanor McMain High School. This marks the second Interact Club sponsored by the Rotary Club of New Orleans, continuing our commitment to supporting youth leadership, service, and community engagement across the city.

A special thank-you goes to Chemistry teacher and Interact Sponsor Mr. Raymond Johnson, whose dedication to student development and community involvement has been instrumental in making this new Club possible. His leadership and encouragement are helping inspire the next generation of Rotarians.

We look forward to supporting the Eleanor McMain Interact Club as they begin planning their first projects and continue the tradition of “Service Above Self.”

Call for Speakers
The Program Committee is seeking members who are interested in helping coordinate speakers for our upcoming meetings. This is a great opportunity to get involved, share ideas, and help shape the engaging programs our club is known for.
We’re also seeking input from all members on the types of speakers and topics you’d like to see in the months ahead. Your suggestions are valued and appreciated!
Please forward all ideas or your interest in joining the committee to Angel Cutno a.chung.cutno@gmail.com
The Four Way Test

The Four-Way Test is a nonpartisan and nonsectarian ethical guide for Rotarians to use for their personal and professional relationships. The test has been translated into more than 100 languages, and Rotarians recite it at club meetings:
Of the things we think, say or do:

1.     Is it the TRUTH?

2.     Is it FAIR to all concerned?

3.     Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?

4.     Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
