Get to know Travelers Aid Society of Greater New Orleans

Speaker Bio: Donna Paramore has more than 15 years of fundraising experience for organizations like Clover New Orleans, Girl Scouts of Louisiana East and KIPP New Orleans, she possesses a profound understanding of the essentials to ensuring the safety, well-being and capability of members within our community. Currently, Paramore is the CEO of Travelers Aid Society of Greater New Orleans which for more than 115 years has been committed to preventing homelessness and to helping homeless or stranded families and individuals regain a self-sufficient lifestyle in greater New Orleans

Topic: Donna will talk about who Travelers Aid Society of Greater New Orleans is emphasizing that for more than 115 years, the nonprofit has been working to end homelessness by acknowledging the harmful systems that contribute to homelessness and housing insecurity in greater New Orleans. She will also specifically discuss the different programs that the nonprofit offers, as well as ways community members can get involved with Travelers Aid Society of Greater New Orleans

Paul Harris Wheels Update

I want to update the club on the status of the wheels

The “wheels” are a simple method to make a smaller donation towards a Paul Harris Fellow and to support the great RI Foundation projects.

For the $100 wheel, 8 of 10 donations are still available.
For the $200 wheel, 4 of 5 donations are still available.
For the $250 wheel, 3 of 4 donations are still available.

Once a wheel is completed and all of the donations are collected, all the names are placed in a hat to draw one person and that person will receive the Paul Harris Fellow Award. It’s That simple.

Please Join me in making the Paul Harris Wheels a success!

The Four Way Test

The Four-Way Test is a nonpartisan and nonsectarian ethical guide for Rotarians to use for their personal and professional relationships. The test has been translated into more than 100 languages, and Rotarians recite it at club meetings:
Of the things we think, say or do:

1. Is it the TRUTH?

2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?

3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?

4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
