YEAH! YOGA - Bringing Wellness Tools to Youth Impacted by Incarceration.
YEAH! YOGA - Bringing Wellness Tools to Youth Impacted by Incarceration.

YEAH! YOGA (yeahyoga.org) teaches yoga and mindfulness to youth (ages 10-24) who are incarcerated and impacted by incarceration in the Greater New Orleans area.

Why do we do this? Why is this important? What is the impact? How are we growing? Find out more about the unique mission of this New Orleans non-profit.

Originally from Pittsburgh and rooted in New Orleans since 1997, Camille Baldassar is a lifelong educator, artist, and wellness leader dedicated to youth empowerment and community healing. She is the Co-Founder and Director of Strategic Initiatives at YEAH! YOGA, where she has helped shape trauma-informed yoga and mindfulness programming for young people since 2016.

Camille has worked with youth as an art teacher, K–12 literacy consultant, and yoga educator across the Gulf Coast for more than two decades.  She is a 500-hour Yoga Alliance–certified registered yoga teacher with specialized training in trauma-informed and youth yoga. Camille holds a Master’s degree in Organization Design and Renewal from Seattle University and a Master’s degree in Art from Texas Tech University, grounding her work in both strategic leadership and creative practice.

Stories
Sippin’ for Scholarships 2026

Sippin’ for Scholarships began as a wine tasting and wine competition that raises money to fund college scholarships for New Orleans high school students and has migrated to add a Country Flair in 2026. It is an evening of celebration and fellowship that includes silent and live auctions, small bites and three local Bourbon Distilleries offering a taste of Bourbon and their story of how they got started in Louisiana. We welcome you to enjoy a great evening for a wonderful cause. The event will take place Central City Barbecue.
Please help us raise critical funds by participating in our auction or by making a donation. The silent auction will close at 9:30 pm on Thursday, January 29th, 2026.
For information about sponsorship opportunities, the auction items and/or delivery please contact Chuck Mutz - chuck@blacktieauctions.biz.

Visit www.us.givergy.com/sippin2026 for more information and to get your tickets.
Call for Speakers
The Program Committee is seeking members who are interested in helping coordinate speakers for our upcoming meetings. This is a great opportunity to get involved, share ideas, and help shape the engaging programs our club is known for.

We’re also seeking input from all members on the types of speakers and topics you’d like to see in the months ahead. Your suggestions are valued and appreciated!

Please forward all ideas or your interest in joining the committee to Angel Cutno a.chung.cutno@gmail.com
The Four Way Test

The Four-Way Test is a nonpartisan and nonsectarian ethical guide for Rotarians to use for their personal and professional relationships. The test has been translated into more than 100 languages, and Rotarians recite it at club meetings:
Of the things we think, say or do:

1.     Is it the TRUTH?

2.     Is it FAIR to all concerned?

3.     Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?

4.     Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
