On May 11th and May 25th, Rotary has organized Multi-Territory work days with SBP, formerly St. Bernard Project. This organization has been helping families get back into their homes following tragedies since being founded after Katrina here in New Orleans. They have assisted after floods in Baton Rouge, Texas, Puerto Rico, Missouri, New Jersey and New York, tornadoes in Alabama and here in New Orleans. We announced these volunteer days several months ago and I received positive feedback from many clubs and Rotarians. This is a great chance to volunteer and fellowship across club and territory lines and Riverbend is cooking for the May 11th event. We will figure out something for the 25th also.
