Spelling Bee

The 2015 Rotary Spelling Bee was a great evening and a had a wonderful showing!  Rotarians, friends of the club and Warren Easton and Ben Franklin students all put their best foot (or should we say mouth) forward and put in some serious competition this year.  We had a lot of fun and raised a lot of money towards our scholarship fund.

Thank you also to Junior Achievement for allowing us to utilize their amazing Biz Town venue, to Direct Mail Plus for the wonderful signage for the event, Avery's Po-Boys for the delicious food, to Grande Krewe Fine Wine & Spirits for the tasty wine and to Anthony Tocco for helping compile our comprehensive spelling words.  Our amazing MC for the evening Mark Romig and our on the ball judge, Tommy Moore both added fun while maintaining fairness. And to the event chairs, Michele Guerin and Bootsie Smith, thank you for a job well done!
