Kelly Allison at Junior Achievement is willing to come give those willing to volunteer to teach a class (or classes) the needed instruction 1 hour before our January 25th meeting at 11:00 at Manning’s.  Once we have gone through the simple 1 hour instruction, we will be informed of the dates when volunteers are needed at schools.  We can individually sign up to teach the classes until the needed spots are filled, then look to the next date/school for the next available teaching opportunity.  The upcoming schools and times will be posted in future BOLOs and/or emailed to those who sign up for this project.  The first opportunity for volunteers to instruct is January 27 at Mary D. Coghill Charter School.  JA is in need of 5 more (they already have some) volunteers for that day.  Kelly said that if interested members are not able to make the January 25th training session, she would like them to contact her and she will work something out to meet with them at another time to complete their training.  Her contact information is:

Junior Achievement welcomes ALL Rotarian volunteers because they are equally committed to workforce readiness skills, and this is a subject that all members of Rotary can be helpful with.  Also, with the exception of a couple of high school programs, the financial literacy components contain everyday lessons such as savings, checking accounts, and credit, and require only a basic and personal knowledge of finance.  So please all who are interested, please volunteer!
