Here Ken is mailing those documents on to his teammate, Mr. Bruce Bain, who is already on the ground in the Philippines meeting with members of the government; with shipping and receiving agencies; and with the Manila Rotary Club officers who will be taking possession of the contents of the two shipping containers. Everything is being focused on ensuring that textbooks and furniture are distributed equitably to the affected schools. Our fellow Rotarian, Heather Kirk, will be joining the mission to meet up with the containers and their contents there in the Philippines and to enjoy some fellowship with our brother and sister members of the Manila Rotary Club. She has promised a presentation to us upon her return.
