Rotary of New Orleans Backpack Drive of 2022 has once again been a great success! After raising nearly $4,000 in donations from club members, we were able to fill 209 brand-new backpacks with fresh supplies to send to four local organizations working in Orleans Parish with pre-identified families needing support. Our recipient partners this year included New Orleans Women and Children's Shelter, the Unity Welcome Home Program, the Kingsley House, and Langston Hughes Academy.
Thank you to club members who volunteered hands-on with the stuffing of bags, flattening of boxes, and moving of shelves to our new storage room.
