"The Pharmacist"

Danny Schneider graduated from Chalmette High School and went on to receive his pharmacy degree from Xavier University. He is best known as “The Pharmacist”, from the Netflix documentary about the tragic murder of his son Danny in 1999 while attempting to buy drugs in the lower ninth ward. Since the tragic death of his son, The Opioid and Addition Pandemic has killed a million people. Dan has spoken around the country and educated thousands of parents and youth about opioids and addiction. He strives to build a nationwide movement to end this pandemic. Danny and his wife Annie call their Mission “The Tunnel of Hope”, as they hope to bring light to this dark National Tragedy.
