NGO -Prosthetic center in the Dominican Republic

I was born and raised in a village in the Dominican Republic. My father is Haitian and my mom Dominican, I am one of 11 siblings and we all lived in a two room house. The school was 4 hours walking distance from our village. My siblings and I used to walk 4 hours to get to the school and 4 hours to get back home. At the age of six I was run over by a train car and lost my entire right leg which impacted my whole life. I used crutches for over 11 years.

I am going to speak about how we founded the first and unique prosthetic and physical therapy center of the Dominican Republic and how our organization has served and changed 385 lives forever from both, the Dominican Republic and Haiti
