What in the world is wrong with the S&WB
Joseph becker is the former general superintendent of the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans. He spent thirty years working for the agency before being asked to resign following the flood events of this past summer. In his 30 year career, Joe becker supervised field repair crews for over a decade, supervised a design department for eight years before serving as the chief engineer at the SWB for the last ten years. His extensive experience in the field, in the office and as their principal engineer provide him with a unique ability to discuss the capabilities of the current organization.
He is a registered civil and environmental professional engineer, with a bachelors degree in engineering from the university of new orleans and a resident of new Orleans.
