Jamie Haeuser served as COO of Woman's Hospital in Baton Rouge for nearly 20 years during which she also led strategic planning that resulted in a $400 million replacement campus. Other hospital appointments included East Jefferson General Hospital, Children's Hospital and Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans.

Jamie received her BA from LSU, majoring in history, and her MHA from the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.

She has been a member of the faculty at the American College of Healthcare Executives since 2001, facilitating courses in strategic planning, leadership and persuasion.  She also served as adjunct faculty at the Tulane School of Public Health, and as Master Faculty at the Ochsner Leadership Institute, where she worked with instructional designers to develop new leadership courses.

Jamie is very involved with the birth center movement in the US, serving on the Board of Commissioners of the Commission on Accreditation of Birth Centers for six years.  She is a member of Rotary International and secured a Global Grant to establish an emergency transport program for maternal-child patients in rural Haiti for the Maison de Naissance, a birth and community health center in the south of the country.  She also works with the New Orleans Medical Mission in providing medical and surgical care in Central America and the Caribbean.

Jamie and husband Bob travel extensively across the world, often as members of Rotary International. Her family includes two adult children and a grandson, Wally.
