NOLA area Rotary clubs will join together to serve breakfast for seven (7) straight days to 100 or more “Grace At The Green Light” participants. GATGL participants are homeless individuals and families living on the streets of New Orleans.

In keeping with our shared motto “Service Above Self,” Rotary volunteers will provide direct hands-on support to meet the basic needs of GATGL participants.  GATGL defines basic needs as food, water and community.

The Rotary Club of New Orleans will staff the morning of Friday, June 21.  Rotary volunteers will arrive by or before 6:15 AM.  Volunteers will begin serving breakfast promptly at 6:30 AM.  Breakfast typically finishes-up by 7:30 AM.

Rotary volunteers will be serving breakfast at Living Witness Church, which is located at 1528 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd., New Orleans 70113. There is plenty of free street parking nearby.  Volunteers should enter the church through the white doors.

Members and friends of the following Rotary Clubs are being invited to help serve breakfast:  The goal is to have 5 to 8 volunteers every day.  Generally, 2 or 3 volunteers serve food (cafeteria-style) in the kitchen.  The remaining volunteers will be in the dining room to help participants sign-in, to serve beverages, and to clean-up.
