Festive Lights @ Delta Hospital & Delta Hospice

Hello all, there is a very special volunteer opportunity that has come up to spread holiday cheer at the Delta Hospital and Delta Hospice! We’ve been asked to put up Christmas lights to brighten up the nights for those people who are visiting, working and being treated at the hospital and the hospice. It’s something simple, but will make a special impact for the people who need it the most at this trying time. 

Times:

Nov 4: Test all strings of lights, replace burnt bulbs, organize strings and get organized for installation end of November. Meet at Ideal Door #1 - 7449 Hume Ave in Tilbury for testing on Sat 9 AM to 11 - 12 PM

Nov 29: Install on Wednesday November 29 from 9 am - 11:30 am.

Late Jan 2024: Takedown will be sometime in late January and date will be confirmed.

Lots of help is required so please invite your family & friends.

We definitely want to test all the lights prior to installation so please volunteer for the testing on Sat Nov 4.

Everyone will be working independently, in masks (mandatory while inside the hospital), and social distancing.

As per hospital regulations everyone participating must be double vaccinated and wear a mask at all times when inside.
