Haiti Experience

At our May 19 regular Club meeting, Guest Speaker Denise McGrath gave a very informative and touching presentation of her recent humanitarian excursion to Haiti. Denise, a local pharmacist, was part of a four member volunteer medical team of Newfoundlanders that spend several days in Haiti providing medical attention and support to Haitians following the devasting earthquake. Her slide presentation provided a glimpse into the tremendous work the team completed under very difficult circumstances.
