RLI Conference coming to Grand Falls Oct 4. Registration deadline Sept 13. Car pool being planned for return Sat evening post conference.
The Club has completed a donation of $50 to the SPCA in memory of Paul Murphy's mom.
Secretary Rhonda Caldwell reminded Committee Chairs to submit Committee meeting information to ensure make-ups can be captured and recorded in attendance tracker. Rhonda also reminded that the attendance process is that members are expected to advise if they are NOT attending or NOT eating. Otherwise it is assumed the member will be in attendance. If a Member does not advise in advance, they will be billed for the cost of the meal.
Golfing (organized by Sid Blundon) had 6 golfers on the course earlier in the day. A good time was had by participants.
Note that September 10 meeting will be held at the Woodstock.
September 17 meeting will likely be held at the Yacht Club and will be confirmed by President Leanne Scoville.
Good News: Kayla Dormody has been offered a job in Burlington ON.
Rotaract reps to present next week at Sept 10 meeting.
Bill Alcock noted that in thinking forward to Dragon Boat Races in 2015, the Club should consider team uniforms, canopy, etc.
