Guest Presentation:  District Governor Stella Roy addressed the Club and provided an overview of some of Rotary's work and her thoughts for the 'Light Up Rotary' Year.

Presentation of Awards: DG Stella Roy presented the following awards: (i) DG Citation to Kathryn Atkin; (ii) True Rotarian Award to Bob Jenkins; and (iii) Paul Harris Fellow to Mike Siscoe.

DG Stella presented Art Squarey with his Past President Pin.

New member Kayla Dormody was inducted as our newest member!

Housekeeping Items:

(i) Reminder of the Rotary After Hours event and the DG Meet and Greet at Bruce Templeton's residence (in conjunction with Rotaract.

(ii) Don Sword indicated the annual MRHIF event (main fundraiser)  is scheduled for Oct 4.

(iii) Oct 4 RI Learning event in Gander.

(iv) ADG Templeton thanked Vicki Chalker for her work on the RYLA 2015 event.

(v) Treasurer Noel Andrews reminded folks to review their invoices for annual dues.  Payment is welcomed :-)

(vi) Jerry Young congratulated those who participated in the Toyota Wish Foundation event.  Leanne, Vicki and Doug were great sports!

Good news:  Noelle Hookey thanked everyone for the successful paddle at the Paddle in Paradise (Avalon Dragon Boat) event.  Winners of our first race and second place in race #2!
