Student Experiences at Beaumont-Hamel

At the regular Club meeting of May 23, Allison Stentaford of CBS, and a recent MUN graduate, was guest speaker and presented a very informative and interesting presentation about her experiences as a Student Guide at Beaumont Hamel. Allison spent several months this past summer working at the Memorial Site as a Student Guide and prior to that had spent a year of study in Nice, France. Her presentation offered any interesting photos and also outlined the role of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment in the Battle at Beaumont-Hamel on July 1, 1916. Photo: Allison Stentaford
