Community Enhancement Project

 

Do you have an idea for a community project with the potential to improve the quality of life for residents in your community?

The Rotary Club of Avalon Northeast is inviting proposals from individuals, organizations and municipalities requesting funding or support for programs or projects that have the potential to enhance the lifestyle for the residents of the communities of Conception Bay South and/or Paradise. We are looking for projects that focus on at least one of the following areas: children and families; culture and arts; community engagement; education and literacy; environment and preservation; and, health and human services.

 

The Rotary Club of Avalon Northeast has been instrumental in developing the Manuels River Hibernia Interpretation Centre, the Topsail Beach Rotary Park, the Rotary Paradise Youth and Community Centre, and the Richard Parsons Memorial Park, as well as a number of other smaller community projects, such as the CBS Monument of Honor, CBS Library Early Literacy Program, Lifestyle Clinics, Choices for Youth Momma Moments, Chamberlains Park, Parson’s Field, and many more.

The Rotary Club of Avalon Northeast reserves the right in calling for proposals to not be obliged to approve any of the proposals submitted. The Club also reserves the right to request further information through presentation.
