Welcome from the President – 2025-2026
Rotary Club of Avalon Northeast
On behalf of the members of the Rotary Club of Avalon Northeast, welcome—and thank you for visiting!
As President for the 2025-2026 Rotary year, I’m proud to lead a club that is rooted in service, fellowship, and community spirit. This year’s Rotary theme, “Unite for Good,” speaks to the heart of what we do: bringing people together to create meaningful, positive change—locally and around the world.
Whether we’re supporting youth initiatives, promoting food security, responding to urgent community needs, or simply lending a hand where it’s needed most, our members are committed to making a difference. And we have fun doing it.
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to each of our members for the passion, energy, and time you bring to Rotary. Your dedication is the reason our club continues to grow and thrive—and it’s an honour to serve alongside you.
Rotary is open to anyone who wants to give back, grow personally and professionally, and be part of something bigger than themselves. If you're curious about Rotary, we invite you to join us for a meeting, attend an event, or reach out for a conversation. There’s a place for you here.
Here’s to a year of service, connection, and purpose.
In Rotary,
Leanne Whelan
President, 2025-2026
