Sunday October 2 2022 - A perfect morning to join Holy Spirit High Interact at the annual Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure at Quidi Vidi Park. The team raised almost $1000 towards a provincial total of over $77,000.
A Rotary MultiClub social was held at O’Briens farm and participants enjoyed an evening of fellowship, a BBQ and a sing along around the fire. Many thanks to the Rotary Clubs of St. John’s and St. John’s East for organizing this event!
The Rotary Club of Avalon Northeast was delighted to welcome Eastern Area Governor Jim Carroll to our meeting on September 21, 2022. Jim encouraged the St. John’s area clubs working closer together and the first step in this will be the Multi-Club Social on September 29th at O’Brien’s Farm.
A Rotary Multi-Club social, hosted by the Rotary Clubs of St. John’s East and St. John’s,  was held at O’Brien’s farm was held on September 29th, 2022. Rotarians met for fellowship, a lovely BBQ and a sing-along around the camp fire! 
A great evening at Topsail Beach for the club’s annual BBQ! The weather cooperated and we enjoyed a lovely evening of fellowship.

St. John’s, NL – The Rotary Club of Avalon Northeast will host 200 Rotarians and conference participants from across Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Saint Pierre et Miquelon at the Holiday Inn Conference Centre, St. John’s from May 24-27, 2018 for the District 7820 annual conference. The organization of the conference is shared with the other five local Rotary clubs - St. John's, St. John's Northwest, St. John's East, St. John's After Hours and Waterford Valley.

"My wife Pat and I look forward to welcoming Rotary International Presidential Representative Michael Webb, over 200 Rotarians and partners, 18 Interactors (students in Grades 9 – 12) and 13 youth exchange students from around the world to St. John’s and environs. We are particularly excited to engage in discussions related to making a difference in our communities, one’s Rotary club, and within oneself."- Don Sword, District Governor 2017-18 and member of the Rotary Club of Avalon Northeast.

The theme of the 2018 conference is "Join Leaders, Exchange Ideas and Take Action". Topics relating to Rotary and its involvement with peace, the environment, leadership, and planning will be of special focus for guest speakers and participants. Guest speakers will include: Dave Penney, Enactus Memorial, Chief Joseph Boland (RNC), Wali Shah and Kevin Tuerff.

Rotary District 7820 is comprised of 48 Rotary Clubs throughout Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Saint Pierre et Miquelon. The Rotary Club of Avalon Northeast proudly serves the communities of Paradise and Conception Bay South, NL. This is the first time in since 2011 that a District Governor was nominated from Newfoundland and Labrador.

The Rotary Club of Avalon Northeast was proud to participate in the development of the CBS Monument of Honour.  This year we were delighted to receive an update and to be presented with the book dedicated to this important monument.  Thank you to all service men and women for your dedication and sacrifices.  Lest We Forget.
The Rotary Club of Avalon is thrilled to welcome new member Troy Wiseman.  We already know Troy embodies 'service above self' and is making a contribution from moment one!   
International Peace Scholar Holly White delivered an incredible overview of her experience as a Peace Scholar in honour of Peace and Conflict Resolution Month! So proud to have Holly impart her knowledge.
President Jennifer Crummey and Board of Directors member Karen Duke participated in the Town of CBS Remembrance Day service.  Lest We Forget.
