Fines, Happy Bucks, Confessions:
• Cindy was happy to report the birth of her granddaughter, Addison Grace Monroe, born September 4th.  Also happy to say she has her own bus route now, and gets to drive the big bus.  Finally, her father is Hungarian, and he was very excited to be able to speak Hungarian with Szabi when they met recently.
• Richard and Wynnette are awaiting the arrival of grandson number 22 from North Carolina for a visit.
• Dave Read and wife Katie spent 3 days in the Thousand Islands for Katie’s cousins’ reunion.
• Marie was happy to know that she sold one of the winning tickets from our Canaltown Days drawing.
• Bob Yost confessed to something.  He isn’t sure what it was, but he’s sure it was something.
• Dianne had a happy buck in thanks to Bob Yost for good times at the annual “Party On The Porch.”  Also, in Bob’s absence she informs us that the Pal-Mac “C” Team is still undefeated, and still hasn’t allowed a score.
• Pam’s dinner badge went on a sight-seeing tour.

Notes and Updates for the Club:
- There was a scheduling conflict for our October 9 program, an evening meeting, but Kim and Mark Clement have agreed to share their experiences on their recent trip to Alaska.

- Save the date: the club Christmas Party is scheduled for December 18 at Parkwood Heights in Macedon.  Further details have yet to firmed up, but we needed to book a date while we could.

- Reminder:  October 2 is the date of DG Ellen Hughes’ official club visit.  Please plan to attend; we always have a good crowd for the DG visit.

- The winners of our Canaltown Days drawing were:

Shopping Spree – Margaret Hill of Albion
Apple iPad 2 – Jeff Johncox of Palmyra
Kindle Fire HD – Jeremy Luke of Walworth
$150 worth of scratch-off Lottery tickets – Gigit Graham of Palmyra
$50 Gift Card to Akropolis Restaurant – Jason Miller of Palmyra
$50 Gift Card to Athenia Restaurant – Tina Ford of Palmyra

The shopping spree will take place at 2pm Saturday, September 28 at Breen’s in Palmyra.  All members are welcome to help out and cheer on our winner!

 - The board of directors has received and approved a membership proposal for Andy Wahl.  Club rules require this to be published in two consecutive newsletters, allowing current members the opportunity to make comments to the board.

The winner of this week’s 50/50 drawing was Cindy Surline.
