Fines, Happy Bucks, Confessions:
• Rory Sloan offered a buck because he plays tight end on his youth football team.  They had a game on Sunday, and he played all four quarters of the game, which his team won!
• Bob Sloan matched that happy buck and told us that the “C” team has gone undefeated so far and has not allowed an opponent to score.
• Edie and Eric’s daughter Kari auditioned for the University of Vermont dance team.  Of 44 aspirants, Kari was one of only seven selected.
• Gene reports that the Yankees won Tuesday night, and predicts another win for tonight.
• Dave S attended a recent high school football game (Pal-Mac vs Wayne), but confessed to leaving early to avoid the celebrating Wayne fans.
• Leslie’s brother is running for mayor of Binghamton, and received 61% of the vote in the primary.
• Bob Yost informs us that his daughter Heather is settled into her room in Tokyo and that son Matthew is in Chicago, where he has completed his first two weeks of law school.
• Bob Ike is very happy to announce that he has lost 35 pounds.  Way to go, Bob!
• Jim Bush got his wife a new car for their anniversary.
• Maurina happy-bucked in honor of being married 3 months today.
• Dianne took part in the Dirty Girl Mud Run, a 5k race, this past weekend.
• Jim Murray expressed pride in his son, who was our club’s RYLA representative this summer.

Notes and Updates for the Club:
- The “Purple Painted Lady” is hosting her annual barn sale on September 21.  Our club has volunteered to handle parking for this event.  Customers will pay $1 per car; all money raised will go to the club.  As of this meeting, there was still a need for one more volunteer to help from 12 – 3.  Please contact Dianne if you can help out.  All shifts may be filled as you read this, but more help will surely be welcomed.
- Bob Yost updated the club on the results of the RL Concessions effort at the Hill Cumorah Pageant.  Through your help and that of the other clubs, a very successful year was realized.  Bob presented to our club a check for $9,235.
