Notes and Updates for the Club:
- Reminder:  October 30 is the new date of DG Ellen Hughes’ official club visit.
- We continue to collect money for club polo shirts and aprons.  We are required to put half down when we order them.  The cost is $20 for the polo shirt with our club name and Rotary wheel.  You may have your name embroidered on your shirt for an additional $3.  If you would like to replace your apron or add to your collection of Rotary aprons, these will be available for $16.50.  Please see Tom to make a down-payment.
- If you are interested in attending the Rotary Leadership Institute at the Inn on the Lake in Canandaigua, Saturday, November 2, registration form is available at this link.  Final deadline to sign up is Oct 23.
- The District Foundation Bruch will be held on Sunday Nov. 10th at the Belhurst Castle in Geneva. The cost will be $29 and more details will be available soon.
- The board of directors has received and approved membership proposal for Brian Brooks, Dave Stachnik and Jim Murray.  Club rules require this to be published in two newsletters, allowing current members the opportunity to make comments to the board.
- The Palmyra Fire Department, Palmyra Library, and Pal-Mac Schools are sponsoring “Pancakes and Paperbacks” at the Palmyra Fire Hall Sunday, October 27 from 7am – noon.  Pancake breakfast, story time and library cards will be offered.  Cost is $6 for adult, $5 for children (5-12).  Children under 5 admitted free.
