Please keep the following in your thoughts and prayers:
Craig LeMoyne was undergoing bypass surgery this morning.
Pat’s grand-daughter (who had amnesia) is having her gall bladder out.
Exchange Student Update:
Mila tells us she had a really good week. She attended a concert at the Eastman Theater, where her host-sister performed; her swim team won league; and she scored 39 out of 40 on an English essay.
Singing:
Kim led us around a few choruses of Ro-Ro-Rotary (sung to the tune of “Row, Row, Row Your Boat”).
Fines, Happy Bucks, Confessions:
- Gene had a happy buck for the nice picture of him in the crier.
- Tom had a sack buck, as he is suffering from Bell’s palsy. However, there was an offsetting happy buck in honor of the Texans’ Monday night victory.
-Eric took a trip to California. He saw the Dodgers lose, and the Bills, too. But the fans in San Francisco were nice to him - they shared their tequila shots with him, which helped soften the blow.
- Cindy pitched in a buck for the barn sale. Even though the weather was not so great, the sale went well. There were few things left over from the last sale, and they raised $60 for Rotary.
- Jim Bush celebrated a “significant birthday for his bride.”
- Peter offered a happy buck in Mila’s honor. He was quite impressed with her performance on the essay.
