Birthdays / Anniversaries:
Andy and Kristin Wahl
Jonas will be 18 on Saturday 11/8; in observance of that milestone we had cake!
Fines, Happy Bucks and Confessions:
• Mark offered happy bucks for the bucks he and Kim took with their new crossbow last week.
• Leslie, who knows how much her daughter loves being mentioned in the Crier, tells us that Juliana is home, but has been sick. She has been encouraged to rest, so naturally she has been shopping, baking, etc. Hi, Jules!
• Bob Ike had a happy buck for Pam Wagner being with us today. He also fined himself for announcing that the district is in need of substitute teachers. “You can do it! Excellent pay – great rewards!” Let him know if you are interested.
• Pam Dean’s grandson played in his first basketball game of the season; he plays for his junior college in Florida.
• Joan’s Steelers have won 3 games in a row – that’s worth a happy buck!
• Steve discovered a trail along the old Erie Canal, north of Lyons, and went for a ride on his bike from there to Clyde. He tells us he does other things besides biking, too.
• Brian told us about “a bunch of old guys” playing flag football this past weekend in what has become known as the Pumpkin Bowl. He mentioned Andy and Gary among the athletes.
Notes and Updates for the Club:
- Please contact any member of the Board of Directors with ideas for projects to use the District Simplified Grants program. Yep, they’re still taking your suggestions.
- Formal election of officers for the 2015-2016 will take place at our club meeting Wed, Dec 3. The following positions will be voted on: Club Secretary, Club Treasurer, and Sergeant-at-Arms. Also 3 members will be elected to the Board of Directors for 2-year terms. If you have an interest in taking one of these positions, please contact Mark Clement no later than Nov 22.
- Details are still being ironed out, but save the date! The club Christmas party is set for Wednesday, December 17 at Parkwood Heights. The social hour starts at 6pm, with dinner to follow at 7pm. More information to come.

This week’s 50/50 winner was Mark Clement.
Next meeting is at noon on Wednesday, November 12, at the American Legion in Palmyra. Gary Haigh will present Michael, Keene, local author.
