Birthdays / Anniversaries:
Maurina’s birthday was yesterday (11/11).
Student guest Devin’s birthday is Saturday.

Fines, Happy Bucks and Confessions:
• Tom Breen offered a happy buck, “because we didn’t screw up ‘Happy Birthday.’”
• Leslie recently visited her son at Delphi University.
• Eric said he had no money for the Bills this week, but offered up $5 for the San Francisco Giants.
• Steve had a couple of happy bucks.  Apparently, he didn’t realize that his bike-riding would be so diligently reported in the Crier.  Still he offered the second buck for a bike ride from along the canal from Gansz Road in Lyons to Clyde and back, a ride of 25 miles!
• Bob Sloan spent a weekend with the kids at the cottage; the work there is now done.
• Jim Bush had a happy buck because Bob Yost picked up the tab at breakfast this morning. Jim wasn’t going to name him, but the others who were there let us in on it.
• Dick offered a buck of his own, with dittoes to Jim Bush.  He told us that after Bob bought breakfast, Jim said “we ought to do something for him now.”  Dick promised to give Bob all his business.

Notes and Updates for the Club:
- Formal election of officers for the 2015-2016 will take place at our club meeting Wed, Dec 3.  The following positions will be voted on: Club Secretary, Club Treasurer, and Sergeant-at-Arms.  Also 3 members will be elected to the Board of Directors for 2-year terms.  If you have an interest in taking one of these positions, please contact Mark Clement no later than Nov 22.
- A reminder to save the date:  the club Christmas party is set for Wednesday, December 17 at Parkwood Heights.  The social hour starts at 6pm, with dinner to follow at 7pm.  Tom will be passing a signup sheet at the next meeting.
- Our club will be ringing the bell for the Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign again this year.  We have reserved the entryway at Breen’s from Friday 12/5 through Sunday 12/14.  Cindy will be accepting signups.  We will be covering 11:30-3:30 on the weekends, and 4-7 on weekdays.  This is a great opportunity to meet and greet the people in our community and spread the word about Rotary along with holiday cheer.

Students joining us today, l-r: Todd Brockhuizen, Jonas, Kristen Jones, and Devin Soliday.

Bob Ike won this week’s 50/50 drawing and donated his winnings to the club’s literacy projects.
