Birthdays and Anniversaries:
   Kim and Mark Clement's granddaughter, Sophia, turned five on October 1st.

Fines and Happy Bucks:
    -- Dave Stachnik, this week's Greeter, arrived late and was fined by Prez Kim.
    -- Bob Yost gave a very Happy Buck for his son, Matt, who is now an Associate Attorney with a Chicago law firm. Congratultions, Matt!
    -- Margaret Brooks attended her granddaughter's wedding in North Carolina over the weekend; in spite of the impending hurricane, the wedding went on and the next morning Margaret cooked breakfast on the family's grill.
    -- Bob Yost and Bob Sloan both offered up a buck for son Rory, who shot his first pheasant.
    -- Dianne Sloan also had Happy Bucks for son Rory's participation on the Pal-Mac Cross Country team, and daughter, Autumn, who recently “sold her first commissioned art piece”.
    -- Dave Stachnik also chipped in a buck on his daughter's recent engagement.

News and Announcements:
    -- Dictionaries for P-M third graders (and Thesaurases for fourth graders) have been labeled, and are scheduled for distribution on Tuesday, November 15.
    -- The annual Holiday Party at Parkwood Heights in Macedon has been set for December 21^st; cocktails at 6:00 p.m., dinner at 7:00.
    -- Gene Bassage awared “perfect attendance” pins to the following Rotarians: Eric Chapman, 34 years; Dick Kirchhoff, 28 years; Margaret Brooks and Cheryl Ford, 26 years; Joan Shaffer, 19 years; Dave Read, 17 years; Bill Dean, 16 years; Bob Yost, 14 years; Mark Clement, 11 years; Gary Hopkins, 10 years; Pam Dean, Bob Sloan and Dianne Sloan, 7 years; Kim Clement, 6 years; Bob Ike, 5 years; Maurina Schmidt, 1 year. Others, who were absent, are Pat VerPlank, 28 years; Anne Morrell, 13 years; Tom Breen and Leslie Vecchiotti, each with 7 years perfect attendance.
