Birthdays and Anniversaries:

Chris Santelli confessed to a birthday – 42 of them.

Fines and Happy Bucks:
• Mark Clement offered five happy bucks this week for a variety of good things: granddaughter Sophia is visiting for two weeks; the Green Bay Packers are now two games away from the Super Bowl; and a great weekend of snowmobiling in the Adirondacks with buddies.
• Joan Shaffer's Pittsburgh Steelers are playing for the AFC championship on Sunday.  That was worth another Happy Buck! (Wouldn't it be something if they play Green Bay in the Super Bowl?)
• Brian Brooks enjoyed a quick weekend visit to Myrtle Beach, and also enjoyed a day of ice fishing on Honeoye Lake.
• Bob Sloan also had a successful day of ice fishing on Sodus Bay with son, Rory.
• Leslie Vecchiotti spent a weekend trip to Oneonta and NYC “returning kids to college”.

CLUB ASSEMBLY:
-  There are still tickets available for the Murder Mystery dinner on Saturday evening, January 28th. Members are urged to see if they can sell to friends and coworkers.
-  District Governor Tom Rogers will visit our Club on Wednesday, Feb. 1, so be sure to plan on attending.
-  The annual Rotary Foundation Dessert Gala will be held on Wednesday evening, February 15th, at Parkwood Heights, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $5.00 per Rotarian and guests are free. Contact President Kim for signups and dessert items to be auctioned. All proceeds go to the Rotary Foundation.
-  The annual Rotary District Training Assembly will be held on Saturday morning, April 8, at Newark High School. This is a great learning opportunity for new Rotarians and prospective Club officers to learn more about our organization.
-  Kim and Mark Clement recently hosted a District Governor Elect and his wife, from India, as part of the “Milt Matthews Hospitality Program” in which area Rotarians host DGEs from around the globe on their way to their training program in San Diego, CA. Kim shared several stories of their visit to upstate New York, which included sledding and other snow related events, as well as visits to Bristol Mountain, Letchworth State Park, and the George Eastman House in Rochester.
-  The Prez also auctioned off the Exempt Button for the month of February, which was claimed by Rollo Black for $8.

Reminder – There will be no meeting next week, due to the Murder Mystery dinner. The next meeting will be on Wed., Feb. 1st in Palmyra.

   50/50 -- $12.00, won by Shirley Bassage.
