Fines and Happy bucks:
   Pat and Kim C both paid happy dollars to see John Deisenroth at the meeting.  Pat brought up the time she built a 7’ elephant for a Rotary float and John drove it all around town.
   Joan paid a sad dollar for the Steelers loss, but will add a happy buck if Jacksonville beats the Patriots in the Super Bowl.

paid for 4 in Vermont for a girls weekend.  Eric paid for being able to see his grandson play 4 hockey games in Boston.
   Kim C also paid a happy buck for a great time with her Indian guests in the Milt Matthews DGE Hospitality program. 
   John Deisenroth paid a Happy dollar for just being here, then noted it was his birthday too.
 
Announcements
Wellness Fair will be March 24.  President Gary is looking for volunteers to man the booth.
 The Rotary Foundation Gala is moved to Feb. 28 and will include not only desserts, but also appetizers and entrees.  Gary will send out a sign up on a future e-mail.
 The district simplified grant picnic table building will take place at the Clements’ house on March 24. 
  We received thank-you notes from several 3rd and 4th graders for their dictionaries and thesauruses

Program 
President Gary and PE Leslie handed out Strategic Planning surveys to those in attendance.  Gary went over SWOT-looking at our club’s Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats.  Our club’s strategic plan will define our purpose, goals and objectives for now and the future.  There was some discussion on each of the components, but more discussion will take place after a tabulation of the results.
