Fines and Happy Bucks:
    
Anne Morrell pitched in several happy bucks for her recent travels, which included a trip to Calgary, Alberta to attend a Rotary Youth Exchange conference, and numerous trips following the Ithaca College women’s lacrosse team.
     Marty Medina shared that his son, Luke, who suffers from a heart condition, is “doing well” and that the family is looking forward to a “Make-A-Wish” trip to New York City in June to see the Broadway show Hamillton.
     Eric Chapman and his wife, Edie, just returned from their annual two-week break in Aruba.
     Maurina Schmidt confessed to missing this week’s Board meeting!
     Margaret Brooks spent a week visiting family in New Jersey, which included attending four lacrosse games.
     Mark and Kim Clement are enjoying a two-week visit from granddaughter Sofia. Sofia is looking forward to taking in an Easter egg hunt.

News and Announcements:
      More help is needed for  Adopt-A-Highway cleanup, scheduled for Saturday morning, April 22. If you can help, please let Bob Yost know.
     President Kim is looking for a member to represent our Club at the annual Wayne County Fair Queen competition on Friday evening, April 28. If interested, please contact Kim ASAP.
     The Prez is also looking for photos from this year’s Murder Mystery Dinner and Camp Onseyawa to be used in the Club’s displays at the District Conference in May. If you have any items, please get them to Kim soon.
     Save the date – the annual Camp Onseyawa Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, June 10. Watch for details.
     Sign up sheets will soon be passed around for workers at the Hill Cumorah pageant in July. We will need to fill over 90 slots this year, so be thinking of what you can commit to.
     The annual dues letter will soon be in the mail. Please note that there will be no increase to members this year (2017-18), because the Club will cover the increase from Rotary International. However, you will have to pay the full amount of dues for the following Rotary year-- 2018-19.
     Leann Sawyer, daughter of Rotarian Pat VerPlank and a two-year cancer survivor, asked for a few moments to speak about “Embrace Your Sisters” – a local area program that provides emergency financial assistance for people struggling with Breast Cancer.  To learn about EYS and the many opportunities to support this cause, you can findf information online at www.embraceyoursisters.org.
